  1. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you wrote. I love Texas. Many of my neighbors, church friends and mere acquaintances have the biggest hearts you can imagine. One on one, you literally can’t beat Texans for their desire to help others. It’s when you start talking group politics that a problem becomes evident. Hunkering down and waiting out bad decisions (remember the Alamo!) rarely turns out well. We have to march onward, show others what Texans are made of, and use our loud voices to make changes. And as a great first step, could somebody please make Rick Perry go back home and STAY there?
