  1. I love all these suggestions, but I especially applaud the notice that articles are always addressed toward the mothers. It’s really short-sighted and makes fathers second-class citizens in rearing their own children. That can’t be good for anyone!

  2. Love, love, love this post! It’s so important for parents (great point Julie), regardless of gender to be involved in their children’s lives and challenge very rigid and narrow “gender norms.” The points Dr. Hook made are spot on and should be a part of how boys are raised. It’s refreshing to see an article on how to help boys reach their full potential.
