  1. It seems so fundamental to us now … that everyone, male or female, has the right to vote. But some of us seem to take that right for granted. I find it most shameful that some women don’t take the time to vote when so many sacrificed so much for us to do so.

    And as for not helping others who cannot help themselves … well, I believe most major religions espouse charity (and I mean that as kindness, not merely monetary help) as the appropriate way to live. I wonder if those who vote against assistance for those who need it would call themselves religious. I bet they would. Interesting.
