  1. I like the article and most certainly agree that our society must course correct on its eating habits. And I applaud First Lady Obama on her efforts to combat obesity.

    One comment on the food channels is that some shows do focus on healthful, quality food preparation and consumption. I love those shows when I get a chance to watch them.

    How about a fresh tomato from the garden instead of those fries?

    1. Thanks so much Julie for the comment. Yes, the healthier food programs do exist. And as for the fresh tomato…well just a couple of days ago I made every meal with only fresh items from our garden. It was like discovering the real flavor of things for the first time. Really yummy, and good for us, too! Gonna do it much more often!
