    1. Hang on, Sarah. The sun will eventually arrive! Here in the southern U.S., March is already warmer than usual – after the coldest February in 100 years. Now all we have to do is dodge the tornadoes……….

The ancient festivals of the Celts – which have become, in one way or another, the modern festivals of neoPagans – speak exactly to that feeling: grief for the sun (pick your solar god of choice and there will be myths about him dying around the time of the solstice, or being wounded, or retreating), feeling that the sun has been captured (another story), the idea of cycles of death and rebirth. You would fit in quite well. :D
