I agree humor heals or, at least, makes our lives easier ;) In the past, when I wasn’t working for myself, I had to deal with one or two difficult people at work and used an old technique where, in my mind, I added some funny circus music to these people when they were “grumpy,” and it did work. Their bad mood didn’t affect me and, even more…, outside work, whenever I heard their names I could recall this funny music and that made me smile. It’s perhaps a very silly way to cope with difficult people. But since their being difficult was not my problem, nor it was my task to solve their mood issues, I just dealt with it using some light humor.
