Protriptyline hydrochloride tablets are indicated for the treatment of symptoms of mental depression in patients who are under close medical supervision. Its activating properties make it particularly suitable for withdrawn and anergic patients.

Vyvanse, a prodrug of the CNS stimulant dextroamphetamine, is indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Vyvanse is indicated as an integral part of a total treatment program for ADHD that may include other measures (psychological, educational, social) for patients with this syndrome.

Wellbutrin (bupropion hydrochloride) is an antidepressant of the aminoketone class and is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder. While not approved for smoking cessation treatment, bupropion under the name Zyban is approved for this use. Effectiveness of Wellbutrin in long-term use, that is, for more than 6 weeks, has not been systematically evaluated in controlled trials.

Xanax Tablets (alprazolam) are indicated for the management of generalized anxiety disorder or panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia. Anxiety associated with depression is responsive to Xanax.

Zoloft (sertraline hydrochloride) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder, OCD, panic disorder, PTSD, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and social anxiety disorder. Concomitant use in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) is contraindicated.

Zyprexa^® (olanzapine) is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and — in combination with fluoxetine — for the treatment of treatment resistant depression.
