Welcome to the Parent-Child Internet Addiction Test
Is your child spending too much time on the internet? What counts as too much? While we are pretty skeptical about considering excessive internet use an actual addiction, this 20-question self-test may help you to identify areas of your child’s life which may be impacted by excessive internet use.

Generally speaking, the higher your child’s score, the more impact internet usage may be having on his or her life. Very high scores (above 80) indicate that internet usage is causing significant problems in your child’s life, and your child may benefit from evaluating the impact of the internet on his or her life and addressing the problems directly caused by internet usage.
Screening test scoring ranges:
- Less than 20, Below Test Range
- 20 to 49, Average Range
- 50 to 79, Above Average
