In this Section

Depakote

By FDA Structured Product Labeling | Pub'd

Depakote ER is a valproate and is indicated for the treatment of acute manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder, with or without psychotic features. It is also indicated for the treatment of complex partial seizures and for prophylaxis of migraine headaches.

Lamictal

By FDA Structured Product Labeling | Pub'd

Lamictal (lamotrigine) is an anticonvulsant indicated for the maintenance treatment of Bipolar I Disorder to delay the time to occurrence of mood episodes (depression, mania, hypomania, mixed episodes) in adults treated for acute mood episodes with standard therapy.

Lithium Carbonate

By FDA Structured Product Labeling | Pub'd

Lithium carbonate is indicated in the treatment of manic episodes of manic-depressive illness. Maintenance therapy prevents or diminishes the intensity of subsequent episodes in those manic-depressive patients with a history of mania.

Lithium Citrate

By FDA Structured Product Labeling | Pub'd

Lithium citrate is indicated in the treatment of manic episodes of Bipolar Disorder. Lithium is also indicated as a maintenance treatment for individuals with a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder. Maintenance therapy reduces the frequency of manic episodes and diminishes the intensity of those episodes which may occur.

Lithobid

By FDA Structured Product Labeling | Pub'd

Lithobid (lithium carbonate) is indicated in the treatment of bipolar disorder. This slowly dissolving film-coated tablet is designed to give lower serum lithium peak concentrations than obtained with conventional oral lithium dosage forms.

Lyrica

By FDA Structured Product Labeling | Pub'd

Lyrica (pregabalin) is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain agent indicated for the management of neuropathic pain and postherpetic neuralgia, for the management of fibromyalgia, and as adjunctive therapy for adult patients with partial onset seizures.

Neurontin

By FDA Structured Product Labeling | Pub'd

Neurontin (gabapentin) is an analgesic and anticonvulsant indicated for the management of postherpetic neuralgia in adults and as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures. The mechanism by which gabapentin exerts its analgesic action is unknown.
