Over the last year, I’ve been contacted by practitioners ranging from members of the clergy to clinical psychologists, asking about online supervision. After having so many conversations about online clincial supervision in recent months, I’ve finally created a new section of the site specifically aimed at online supervision and other resources for online training and professional development.

After more than 3 months of more interest from new clients than I could reliably offer services to, our online therapy and online counselling service is again able to accept new clients without a waiting list. Up until now, using our counselling service meant waiting a few days or even a few weeks for space in my practice to become available, but now all new clients will once again be registered immediately, without a wait.

Trust between client and therapist is central to the success of the therapeutic process, but how can people working online foster the same kind of trust that builds between people working face to face? Online therapists and clients alike may be able to learn from new research on fostering trust in online communications.

Our discussion and support forum opens a dedicated section for those whose lives have been affected by the 2004 earthquake and tsunami which struck in southern Asia.
