This article defines very clearly (at least ror me) emotional bankruptcy. It seems mine stems directly from my low emotional intelligence.

I am glad to know about the concept of EB and hope that it is not too late for me to find more suggestions on how to correct the deficit, as I am indeed “in WAY over my head” and at my wits end.

Any additional resources or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

I feel numb and sad all the time, maybe this is the direction i need to start thinking in, i have had alot of loss, and i was in a verbally and emotionally abusive relationship for 6 years.
