    A few years ago now, in Brisbane Australia, the traffic controllers who operated the lights went on strike. The traffic flowed more smoothly!

    Decent public transport is worth thinking about.

      Couldn’t agree more with your comment about decent public transportation, Evan. But that’s a lot further off here in the U.S. than elsewhere.

      Similar experience many times with technology failures. I’m always glad to see an outage that turns all the lights to blinking red or yellow. Traffic flows much more smoothly then!
