Marmalade: very nice.

Spaghetti: no problem.

Together in a sandwich: not so much...

And as for marmite? Bleeccchhhh!

Rocket stuff: yep, that was a fantastic experience! I'd actually already started the design work on the next year's project, a multi-stager to reach the edge of space, with a snazzy fibreglass top stage using HTPB/AP fuel (hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene and ammonium perchlorate). Unfortunately, the superintendent of our school, who was the one running the programme, took another job, and it all had to be cancelled. Rats! He was also the only person with the clout to secure government backing again, so there was zero chance of attempting it without him.

I think it took almost exactly 19 years before another team finally did make it to space with an 'amateur' rocket.

All the best,
Greg

OK, let's repeat this slowly. When you were *fifteen* you *built* and launched a *rocket* to an altitude somewhere around *25,000 feet*....

I'm sure when this person asked you to post some 'fun facts' about yourself they were thinking of things like "I just love marmalade and spaghetti sandwiches" :-)

Funky facts, indeed. Very, very funky. You are quite amazing. It's great to get more of a glimpse of you. More!!
