Thanks all for your comments. Thanks especially to you, Willow for your words of validation. It's the reason I keep doing what I do.

Dr. Simon,

I bought your book many months ago and wanted to tell you that it has been an invaluable resource, not only for recognizing the irrational behaviour but also equipping me with the tools for dealing with it effectively. I have dog-eared several pages and re-read them frequently. It has been a great journey for me to realize that I'm not crazy or worthless - your book helped me through it like no other resource.

Dr. Simon,
I am interested in becoming more adept at recognizing these characteristics for what they represent, and therefore better able to respond. I've gained much insight into my own experience in my marriage, now I want to be better informed.
Looking forward to next posts

I am really looking forward to these next articles. I am constantly up against dh with his behavior that makes me say,"What???"
It seems to come out of left field and I wonder often how I can cope with what seems so irrational and how I can not make things worse but at the same time not enable and at the same same time not walk on eggshells. It is a balancing act that seems exhausting.
