Thanks for your comments!

Somehow I see what you say, Evan ("let's glory in misery") and what you say, Diane ("let's practice excessive happiness") as related. I imagine a big grin accompanying both comments ...

Yay for exuberance!

Patch Adams is a wonderful movie, I have to rent it again. So, so inspiring.

I'm glad you made it down that mountain, Sarah. What a moment that must have been! Looking forward to hearing what you think abou the book.

Practise today and at least once a week the art of laughing until you cry... meditate on it.... contemplate on it.....especially during the misery......
One of my favorite movies is Patch Adams....

PRACTISE EXCESSIVE HAPPINESS !!!!
Seems we could all use more of it....

Evan, You made me laugh.....Thanks!

Sarah, I love your style, keep the mad woman in you! Let us know how the studying goes on that book !!!!

Oh watch out someone might call you bipolar????

LOL! Thanks for this isabella! I remember laughing one of those laughs myself at the top of a mountain when a massive storm started and our whole party were wearing summer clothes, with a three hour walk down and no shelter. The laugh felt great but people treated me like a total madwoman for the rest of the trip. When it comes to misery I have definitely got some learning to do. Off to buy the book ;-)

I think misery should be declared a human right. Let's not be ashamed of pursuing, let's glory in it.

Misery for all! Don't let happiness stand in your way. It's just a plot by marketers. Misery is cheaper, easier, accessible to all. Forget happiness, go with the majority.
