Have you read James Hillman’s The Soul’s Code? His metaphor for the soul is an acorn.
It is quite a useful way of looking at things. He writes a bit in that glib post-modern way but there is some very stimulating stuff in it.
no, never read it but I like the idea of soul as acorn very much!
