Latanya - single parents certainly do the work of two people, if not more. I take my hat off to you!

When life doesn't let you relax, you can always snatch those few minutes in the shower, or in the car, or wherever you have a short break from other people's demands, and use them to do some kind of relaxation, whatever works for you. I find this can be a life saver.

I AGREE WITH ALOT FROM THIS ARTICLE. EASIER SAID THAN DONE! I AM A SINGLE PARENT ACTIVE WITH MY CHURCH AND HAS AN ACTIVE CHILD. I HAVE A FULL TIME AND PART-TIME JOB. YES I HAVE BEEN LABELED AS "NEVER LETTING GRASS GROW UNDER MY FEET" BUT SOMETIME LIFE DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO FREE UP TIME. SINGLE MOMS WITH ACTIVE YOUNG CHILDREN DO ALOT OF RUNNING AROUND AND WE WANT OUR KIDS TO BE ACTIVE IN POSITIVE THINGS, RIGHT? I TRY TO SCHEDULE ME SOME "ME TIME" BUT IT MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH IF THAT. SINGLE MOM HONESTLY DO THE WORK OF 2 PEOPLE.
