Practitioner Review: Can A Logitech Trackball Help You Avoid RSI?
If you’re a mental health practitioner spending long hours in front of a computer communicating with clients, you’ll appreciate our review series on devices that can help reduce the symptoms of repetitive strain injuries. In our latest review, we take a look at the Logitech Cordless Trackman Optical.
If you’ve seen our previous reviews of keyboards and pointing devices, you’ll know that I especially value input devices that can help make long hours spent in front of a computer more comfortable and less likely to induce physical pain.
And while both of our reviewers were pretty impressed with the Kensington trackball we covered last year, for the last several weeks we’ve been testing a new contender: the Logitech Cordless Trackman Optical.
If you’re looking for a comfortable pointing device which might help ameliorate symptoms of repetitive strain injuries — or if you just prefer the precision of a trackball over a mouse — I believe this one should be on your short list.

Hello.
I have read the text about the trackman or better I tried to.
My problem with this article was the automated translation which was so bad for that I was not able to understand it.
So my suggestion is to turn off the automated translation for a better understanding.

Thanks for letting us know, Björn: it’s always helpful to hear from native speakers whether the machine translation was helpful or not. We’ve had very mixed reports, so we’re keeping a close watch on it…
Thanks again,
Greg
